EMBRACING THE CULTURE SHOCK FOR YOUR STUDY/WORK ABROAD.

Every country has their own native traditions that they live for or perform their daily tasks and it is normal to feel a change of events that you are not used to. We often tend to feel a sense of anxiety or fear of the unknown and that is okay. How the people will perceive you in regards to your color ,your accent or even the kind of food that you eat does not matter.

Before you start your journey, try and familiarize yourself with the country that you are going to ,such as the kind of lessons that are taught and how they might differ from your country.
Here are 4 stages of culture shock

.Honeymoon stage– you are all excited and happy with being in a new country. You anticipate sight seeing and having a good time
.Frustration-You begin to feel stressed as things are not aligning as you anticipated. You start having trouble with adapting to certain foods. This is where feelings of homesickness kicks in
AdjustmentsYou will start getting used to the things that were somehow uncomfortable at first. Such as the accent and all. Sooner or later you will fit in.
